While the official cold season is still a few months away, I've noticed more and more people are getting colds year-round.
Fortunately, there's a simple way to protect yourself from colds during every season of the year. It's cheap, safe, and very effective. And it has other health benefits, too.
The simple remedy I'm talking about is probiotics. A recent study found that these good bacteria shorten the duration and severity of colds.

In the study, the researchers gave two study groups the same number of vitamins and minerals. One group also received the probiotics, while the other did not. The study ran for eight months. Both groups had the same number of colds during the study period. But those taking the probiotics had a shorter duration of symptoms (by two days) and less severity. The probiotics also caused large increases in immune cells.
Action to take: I think probiotics are great to take on a regular basis. Not only do they boost your immune system, but they also get rid of gastrointestinal problems like diarrhea, constipation, gas, and bloating.
