Here’s a great way to
ruin
your sex life
I’ve written before about how some doctors are riding the PSA test all the way to the bank. They end up treating men with aggressive treatments for prostate cancer even when a simple change in diet and some supplements are often more than enough to do the job.
Indeed, statistically speaking many of these men would be better off if they did nothing at all. Now a new study shows just how frequently a common treatment for prostate cancer can cause impotence. I was amazed at these numbers.
The researchers looked at 55 men with an average age of 69. All of them underwent external beam radiation therapy for their prostate cancer. This is the normal form of radiation therapy offered all over the world. This was the only form of therapy that they received.

Insulin’s Evil Twin
This overlooked hormone might be the real reason you still struggle with out-of-control blood sugar. But most doctors (even alternative doctors) ignore it completely.

Of the 34 patients who had normal sexual function before radiation, only 10 of them were functional 12 months later. That’s a whopping 70% who lost their sex life. It’s just one more reason to chase down all of your options if your doctor ever gives you a prostate cancer diagnosis.
Some of those options include:
Advanced Prostate Formula (two tablets, twice a day) has all the usual herbs that normalize prostate function. But it has two very important ingredients that are rarely found in the correct doses. One is DIM (di-indolylmethane). The other is lycopene. Both are vital for a healthy prostate. Each tablet has 100 mg of DIM and 10 mg of lycopene.
Vitamin D3 (5,000 IU daily or more) can help you avoid all prostate cancers, and other cancers as well. And it’s a must for cancer treatment.
Next, take iodine in the form of Iodoral. Start by taking 50 mg a day for two months. After that, take the 12.5 mg tablet daily. You can get Iodoral from www.vrp.com. Just mention that you are a Real Cures subscriber, and you will get a 20% discount.
Fish oil inhibits the growth of many forms of prostate cancer. I take Complete Daily Oils for general purposes because fish oil is so valuable in preventing many other diseases. So this is the minimum I would recommend for prostate cancer. A better dose would be four to six capsules per day.
Many studies have shown that melatonin (3 mg 30 minutes before going to bed) inhibits the growth of both hormone sensitive and hormone insensitive prostate cancers.
A strict vegetarian diet. I told you about this a few weeks ago. If you have prostate cancer, a vegetarian diet really helps. This is the regimen I give to all of my patients — because it works.
