Gingrich’s medical advice


Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich recently said that we could save a lot of money in the health care system if we practiced prevention. I agreed with him. But then he went on to say we should use a statin drug instead of waiting for a heart attack. Friend, that’s not prevention. Not only do statins not prevent heart attacks, they may cause other diseases. In fact, a new study links statins with prostate cancer, the number one cancer in men.

A new twist to my prostate treatment regimen

Last week, I told you about a patient whose PSA was rising and his doctor recommended he see an oncologist for a biopsy. When he asked me if he should go through with it, I said, “Absolutely not!” Then I gave him a plan for lowering his PSA and destroying any cancer he might have.


The first thing I tell anyone at high risk of cancer is that they must exercise regularly, drink plenty of water, and get to bed early. These are the foundation for great health – and fighting cancer.
