The cure for GERD — two supplements and a simple diet change

If you suffer from gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a new study from Kaiser Permanente of Oakland has some great news for you. You don’t have to take Tums or other drugs to solve the problem. A simple diet change and two supplements can completely stop GERD.

GERD, as you may know, is a rather common problem in which acid refluxes up from your stomach into your esophagus. If you have GERD, it’s vital you find a way to stop it. The stomach acid can so irritate the esophagus that it can cause cancer.

The researchers also suggested cutting down on red meat and processed foods in favor of these foods and supplements.
