Two weeks ago, I told you about two herbs that can put the brakes on a family history of cancer. Now there's evidence that those same two herbs, curcumin and quercetin, can stop the destruction of collagen in arthritis sufferers.
A recent lab study found that curcumin strongly inhibits enzymes that destroy collagen. But even more important was that the researchers found curcumin also slows certain white blood cells from unwarranted attacks on you. The reason that's important is because it means curcumin will also help with rheumatoid arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease where the white blood cells actually attack your joints and other parts of the body.
If you have osteoarthritis, there's a whole list of supplements you can take. And curcumin should be one of them. But there aren't many supplements that help with rheumatoid arthritis. With curcumin, you now have a great weapon to add to your battle against this terrible disease. I recommend that you take 480 mg per day.

As for quercetin, we've long-known that it has anti-inflammatory properties. In test tubes, for example, scientists have seen quercetin inhibit the type of inflammation that occurs in arthritic joints. And this new study shows that quercetin can also inhibit collagen-destroying enzymes.
These two nutrients are stacking up to be a dynamite combination. First, colon cancer ... now inflammatory arthritis. Why on earth would anyone want to resort to prescription drugs when God provided the remedy for us in His living plants? There's no reason to. Simply pick these herbs up at your local health food store. They're cheaper, safer, and extremely effective.
